The Borderlands series is celebrating its 10th anniversary today, and Gearbox is rolling out five weeks of celebratory events in Borderlands 3 to commemorate the occasion. The first week’s event is live right now.
The first Borderlands game was released on October 20, 2009. Since then there have been three mainline games, a Pre-Sequel, and a Telltale spinoff all set in the Borderlands universe. Borderlands 3 is the newest game in the series and has already broken franchise sales records. To celebrate 10 years, Gearbox announced five weeks of special events, each lasting one week.
